By a strange coincidence, as per government's arithmetic, revenue earnings from tax on EPF (Rs.200 crore) equal the proposed expenditure on celebration of 125th birthday of Deen Dayal Upadhyay and 350th birthday of Sri Guru Gobind Singh. If the government is unable to bear the revenue loss of Rs.200 crore, it may drop the birthday bash.
